How can the weather be like this for months
And then the next morning we wake up to giant blue skies and warmth...
Glorious warmth!
The kind of warmth that makes your bones feel better
Your smile bigger
and everything seems perfect.
So off we went to the zoo to say hello to the elephants
The silly monkeys
Cheered on the amazing swimmers
shared some yummy ice cream
And then with his three little ducks in tow we headed back to the car
Even though the zoo was really, really crowded and the kiddos where all a little cranky we had a really great time.
I love going to the zoo too. My little one glances at the animals as he walks past. I am hoping he will slow down and really watch them.
